Hi! My name is Sophia and I'm a mom to one precocious tyke! I've been scrapping since October 2006 together with my working partners from MemoirActs. It started back then as a means to capture the moments and milestones of my then baby-boy, now, it's become a passionate hobby for me as well as my own therapy from the hustle and bustle of my full-time job. It's my privilege to be part of the creative team over at MemoirActs and I strive to come up with project workshops from scratch to share the ideas and techniques behind each project that is being put together. I love the shabby chic style as well as an electic style of mixing my papers around with layering, inking, distressing, some sewing and stamping. I love to get my hands dirty with paints and misting as well!

 

I'm currently designing for other design teams as well including Pink Sketches, The Story Matters, DreamGirls as well as Groovie Scraps Cafe Cover-It Challenge. Being on the various design teams have given me the exposure to experiment with various ideas as well as techniques in my layouts to come up with different looks but yet maintaining my own signature style.

 

I sincerely do hope to help you get started with some mini projects and layouts as you come and attend the workshops which I've wholeheartedly put together for you to enjoy. Remember, scrapbooking is an act and art of making a memoir of yours and your loved ones lives, to tell your stories for generations to come.
